Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Michigan

Save the Flags was honored to host the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Michigan-35 for a visit to view the flags on Saturday, October 4, 2025.  It was a pleasure meeting these soldiers and some of their families and sharing the collection of flags carried by their brothers in arms during the Civil War. We would like to thank them for their service and also for their support of the project. They presented a check of $1,000 and will be adopting the flag carried by the 24th Michigan Infantry Regiment at the battle of Gettysburg, July1-3, 1863. We are in their debt. Special thanks to B.J. Call and MIARNG Command Historian Adam Betz for organizing the visit.

Below, members and family of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Michigan stand by the Civil War flag of the Second Michigan Infantry Regiment.
