Michigan Museums Association Conference
Save the Flags hosted some attendees of the 2025 Michigan Museums Association Conference that was held in Lansing the week of October 13, 2025. Conservation specialists May Oyler and Cambray Bayliss demonstrated the process of net removal and the techniques they are using to conserve and stabilize the battle flags. The 3-hour program included a visit to the Capitol Heritage Hall conservation lab and the archival storage facility at the Michigan Historical Center.
