Watch - The Battle Flags of Michigan
The Michigan State Capitol Commission, Save the Flags, and MotionPossible–Cinematic Storytelling proudly present The Battle Flags of Michigan, a Bradley Egen film. This hour-long film documents the history of the Civil War battle flags that 90,000 Michigan soldiers fought, bled, and died beneath. Using period photographs, letters, and documents combined with modern film footage of numerous battlefields, the film tells not only the story of the Civil War and the essential role played by Michigan, but it also masterfully tells the story of the flags, their use in combat, and the continuing project to research and preserve them.
