The Shagbark Questers
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026 the members of the Shagbark Chapter #999 of the Michigan Questers visited the archival flag storage facility at the State Historical Center. Many thanks to member Connie Lawler for arranging the visit. Connie’s late husband Jerry Lawler served as Executive Director of the Michigan Capitol Commission and played a very important role in the establishment of the Save the Flags project.
Save the Flags would not be here today were it not for the forethought and support of people like Jerry and Connie Lawler.
