Save the Flags Weekly Update September 13-19
On Wednesday, September 16th, retired Lieutenant Colonel Dave Irwin of the Michigan Army National Guard and Dr. Tom Lambert visited the flag storage unit. Dr. Lambert has been researching his wife’s ancestor who fought with the 21st Michigan Infantry. It was our pleasure hosting them.
The Grand Army of the Republic Museum in Eaton Rapids, Michigan hosted an open house marking their Thirteenth Anniversary on Saturday September 19, 2026. Included in the event was an author’s forum attended by the following local history and Michigan Civil War author:
