Classic Legends Car Club of Hartland, Michigan visited the battle flag collection and also toured the State Capitol on Thursday, August 14,  2025.

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Mr. Douglas Hinton III adopted a flag carried by the 339^th “Polar Bear” regiment during World War I.

Save the Flags was honored to host the Clor family for a visit to the archival flag storage space at the state museum on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Save The Flags was honored to attend and present at the July 29, 2025 meeting of the Michigan Regimental Round Table in Farmington.

The North West Territory of the North South Skirmish Association adopted yet one more flag on Sunday, July 27, 2025 as a part of their shooting competition at the Lansing Muzzle Loaders Club in Laingsburg, Michigan.

On July 17, 2025, the Swartout, Malaney and Chapman families were honored at the Capitol for their adoption of four flags from the Michigan Capitol Battle Flag collection.

We were honored with a substantial donation in honor of the Eighth Michigan Infantry and their Colonel--William Fenton, in a ceremony at the site of the Swartz Creek Lodge on June 17, 2025.

Save the Flags was pleased to attend and address the annual picnic of the affiliated Chapters of the Oakland County, Michigan National Society Daughters of the American Revolution on flag day June 14, 2025.

Several Michigan independent Insurance agents visited the battle flag archival storage unit on June 11, 2025 for a tour.

May 21st saw Save the Flags hosting a few visits to see the flags.

On May 20, 2025 Director VanAcker was invited to speak about the Michigan Battle flags of Gettysburg at the Grand Army of the Republic Museum in Eaton Rapids.

Save the Flags was honored to be invited to attend and participate in a very special military marker dedication ceremony at Woodland Cemetery in Monroe, Michigan on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Mr. Mark Morton, the Treasurer of the Northwest Territory of the North South Skirmish Association paid a visit to the flag storage unit on May 30, 2025.

In continuing his long-standing support of Save The Flags, Mr. Bruce Miller recently donated an original 1889 edition of the book, Michigan at Gettysburg.
